RLabs is globally known for its community work and below are some of its internationally recognized projects:
Mobile Counselling Services
RLabs in collaboration with a number of international Non-profits provide mobile support services through the use of the JamiiX technology. This innovative contact support centre offers counselling in the areas of HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, abuse, stress and depression, career counselling etc. These services are offered via mobile chat platforms (MXit, GTalk etc.) and mobile social networks.
RLabs Community Development and Training Services
Previously, known as Mom 2.0 and Mom 3.0 this programme offers women and mothers from all ages the opportunity to enjoy the experience of Social Media. Skills they will acquire are
- Web and Information Literacy
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Extensive experience on Various Social Media Tools
- Campaigning and Basic Marketing
Senior Mobile Sessions (6 Months)
This course is offered to the elderly and senior citizens who acquire basic skills training on maximising the use of their mobile phones. Participants are also introduced to mobile services and social media tools as part of the course.
The Reconstructed: Social Media for Social Change Course (20 Weeks)
This course is offered to young men and women who comes from difficult backgrounds and looking for an opportunity and outlet to not only learn new skills but also to be transformed through the use of Innovation. In the past community members who attended included the unemployed, ex-drug addicts, ex-gang members etc. Some of the skills that will be acquired during this course are:
- Web and Information Literacy
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Extensive experience on Various Social Media Tools
- Campaigning and Basic Marketing
Social Media for Teens
This course is offered to young teenagers where they are taught life skills (Identity, HIV/AIDS, coping etc.) through the use of Social Media. This popular course provides young people to use these new technologies to provide messages of hope to their peers. Skills acquired will include:

- Basic Computer Literacy
- Extensive experience on Various Social Media Tools
- Life Skills
